  • Explain how easy it is to assess an organization's external security posture.

  • Describe the different common tools to test your security.

  • Discuss the most common security issues and what basic controls need to be in place.

  • Utilize a non-technical view of how to audit and understand a health system's security posture. 

In addition, the session will provide significant time for your questions.

Speaker Bios:

Johan Lidros, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, HITRUST, CCSFP, ITIL-F - Eminere Group
Johan Lidros (CISA, CISW, CGEIT, CRISC, HITRUST, CCSFP, ITIL-F) President of Eminere Group has a significant amount of experience working with healthcare organizations, assessing, and auditing their IT Risks.  He has led numerous Cybersecurity engagements at health systems during the past 20 years and has a very comprehensive understanding of current IT governance and security standards such as: COBIT, HITRUST, NIST, CIS, and IS027002.  Johan has performed dozens of speaking engagements over the past two decades on various IT/Cyber Security and risk management topics at conferences including ACUA, AHIA, EDUCAUSE, FHIMA, HCCA, and ISACA. Johan regularly teaches ISACA CISA and CISM review classes.

Fredrik Soderblom, CISM, CRISC - Eminere Group
Fredrik Soderblom has almost 30 years of IT and security experience. Fredrik has designed, implemented and reviewed firewall systems for government agencies, universities, hospitals and financial institutions. He has also designed and implemented complex network perimeter security solutions in Europe and the United States, as well as performed numerous security assessments and penetration reviews. In addition, Fredrik has worked in various positions including: technical security advisor, system architect, software developer and R&D positions. He also teaches various technical security classes on a regular basis.
